Color Grading

I shoot 95% of my content RAW – usually REDCODE RAW. The places you can go with bayer pattern RAW footage is staggering. A great example of its power is the Covered in Chrome clip. It was a one-shot that moved between daylight and tungsten light sources – and, thanks to RAW, I could dynamically alter the white balance between each transition. No matter what light source the camera was under, the artists’ skin tones were always correct.
